היכי דמי אילימא כדקתני דליכא כת אחרינא משלמין דמי עין לעבד בתר דמפקי ליה לחירות דמי עינו קבעי שלומי

And R. Papa therefore said: We assume that the change of mind took place within the minimum of time [required for the utterance of a greeting]!<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Where it might have been suggested that the two utterances constituted a single indivisible statement.
